DescriptionSummarySupport the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance to customer requirements, regulatory requirements, AS91001, IS9001 and Nadcap requirements. Must be familiar with current customer specifications to ensure that material shipped and certified is in compliance to any specifications that may be referenced on the COC. Maintain the supplier customer database current and conduct onsite supplier audits as necessary. Must be able to understand and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) practices and assist as needed in investigation of out-of-control data pointsDuties and ResponsibilitiesResolve internal corrective actions pertaining to QMS audit findings.Host weekly Quality Meetings.Verify incoming raw material COAs and communicate results as necessary.Enter COC input data into the current SPS program.Conduct internal audits to AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.Conduct Supplier audits as necessary.Maintain Supplier Survey database.Set up necessary training for new hires or personnel transfers.Generate customer COCs as needed, review customer COCs for accuracy prior to submittal back to Sales.Administer Operator Qualification documentation and stamp control.Administer document control processes and record retention.Conduct PO reviews and provide feedback to the sales team with exceptions.Perform Root cause and Corrective action to respond to customer complaints.Skills and SpecificationsCourtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.Will need to successfully pass AS9100 Lead Auditor course.Education and QualificationsThree years to five years of similar or related experience.A Bachelor's Degree Science is preferred but not necessary. Associate degree and combination of experience is requiredSix Sigma certification or Black Belt training desired.This position involves working with technologies and information which are subject to U.S. export control regulations. Under these regulations, Toray CMA must review certain candidate information including citizenship, basis of United States work authorization and country of origin.
