Responsibilities
This job is responsible for participating in the planning, coordinating and implementing of strategic digital and consumer-facing marketing technology initiatives for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s (VMFH) Marketing & Communications Department. An incumbent works closely with VMFH Health administration, physicians, providers and community, as well as colleagues in the Marketing and Communications department, in support of the organization’s business and marketing goals within the assigned functional area.
Work includes, but is not limited to: 1) coordinating and implementing relevant marketing-technology strategies aligned to overall business objectives by utilizing the suite of tools in the marketing-technology stack; 2) coordinating and implementing strategies for digital-first channels, including websites, mobile apps, digital marketing efforts to include marketing automation, SEM (SEO, PPC, display, social advertising) and social media channels; 3) working with agency partners and freelancers to coordinate projects, and 4) supporting provider and location data management and online listings and reputation efforts.
Work involves close collaboration with the following departmental teams to effectively promote and support the organization’s strategic business goals: communications, creative services and brand/service/product marketing staff. An incumbent is exposed to confidential information which entails frequent contact with internal customers, event committees, vendors, public and other staff in order to support organizational objectives.
Work requires knowledge of general marketing/communication standards and practices, and the ability to meet strict deadlines and work both independently and in a team environment to service a variety of clients. Also requires knowledge of social media channels and expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite. Also requires knowledge of interactive marketing, search engine marketing disciplines, social media platforms and practices in order to facilitate deployment of digital strategies that support and align with the organization’s strategies priorities.
Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, website development and management, orrelated disciplines.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Adobe, SalesForce, Google, and Hootsuite.
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and online advertising.
Pay Range
$30.55 - $44.30 /hour
