Job Description: Here at Andrews Fixture, we are making much more than just cabinets. We are helping individuals grow, increase their skillset, build confidence in their work, and provide an excellent work/life balance. A machining team member will spend their day reading production plans, running parts through our automated edgebander, using proper CNC programs, loading/unloading machinery, doweling parts/pieces, quality control at each work station, feeding work in to assembly, and helping ensure that we complete and ship out orders on time. Expectations: Always show up with a can-do attitude ready to take on challenges head on. As a member of a team, you will need to be able to work well with others in a positive productive manner. You should always be looking for the next task to complete, we are a fast-paced shop and need all members' participation to ensure we stay on track. Keeping a clean workstation and restocking inventory as needed at the build stations. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task required. Woodworking, cabinetmaking or other relevant hands skills a strength. Excellent decision-making, planning, judgment and reporting skills Strong desire for long term career success. Must be comfortable lifting 50-60 pounds Strong communication skills. Responsibilities: Programming products according to specifications and blueprints Operating large format cabinet shop machinery including an automated edgebander, gannomat style dowel machine, vertical CNC machines, air lift tables, saws, and routers as needed. Moving carts from station to station while maintaining an expected level of organization. Inspect product for quality and accuracy. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment. Reporting all damage and safety issues to management.
