Position: Cardlock Maintenance Technician Work Schedule:M-F schedule; 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (flexible); emergency response as needed Hourly: $23 to $25 an hour DOE Travel Required:40% Summary: The Field Support Technician is responsible for site image and maintenance of company owned Flyers/Quick Fuel cardlock fueling sites to include cleaning, repairing, and maintenance of equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide prompt and courteous service to both internal and external users Responsible for cleaning cardlock fueling site including disposing of trash, refilling supplies, changing light bulbs and sweeping island and fuel lanes. Shovels snow from fuel lanes and other walkways during winter months. Paints islands and canopy columns as needed and paints the building annually. Assistguest having problems at the fueling site and answer their questions. Provide onsite support for company operated equipment and software; Repairs equipment at stations including card readers, site controllers and dispensers. Identify, order, pick up, and install parts needed to complete repairs to equipment or facilities. Attend inspections and compliance testing at Company facilities. Interface with Local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies and personnel on a regular basis. Maintain a working knowledge of all current Local, State, and Federal regulations pertaining to Underground Storage Tanks (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST). Maintain records associated with the underground and above ground storage tank systems to include: Permits, testing, hazardous materials business plans (HMBP), financial responsibility, emergency response plans, Spill prevention counter control measure plans (SPCC), and Storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP). Coordinate with all necessary parties to ensure that UST equipment including: piping, dispenser pan, automatic tank gauge, tank and pipe monitoring, overspill and overfill protection, and dispensers are all operated and maintained within proper compliance. Maintain a working knowledge of Weights and Measures requirement for calibration of dispensing equipment. Manage on-site hazardous waste program to ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal practices. Maintain a working knowledge of Local, State, and Federal health department regulations and fire codes throughout multiple districts. Maintain Company standards pertaining to matters of compliance with both existing and upcoming regulatory requirements. Respond to any on-call situations 24/7; Troubleshoot emergency situations through to resolution. Identify problems and develop plans to bring situations to an appropriate resolution in line with company and department objectives. Must have reliable transportation. Meet company driving insurability requirements. General Responsibilities: Perform specific tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
