Trouves St. Ann’s – A 48 bed assisted Living in Tacoma, WA. is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant’s or HCA’s with Behavioral Health experience. The positions focus on providing provision of care services, behavioral health support and identified services as established in the AL Negotiated Care Plan and the Behavioral Support Plans. The positions provide continuous resident care, supervision, resident interaction, and role modeling to our Assisted Living residents. Primary Responsibilities Include: *RN delegate trained preferred - for Top Pay Range compensated Assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, basic hygiene) Performing basic resident care activities such as vital signs, observation and reporting of signs and symptoms of a change in condition Assisting residents with all ADL’s -including mobility such as ambulating, personal care and supervisory and behavioral health support. Provide resident care and behavioral support services to facility residents, including (but not limited to) one to one intervention and implementing established clinical care plans. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Behavioral interdisciplinary team to create and maintain a respectful and resident care focused therapeutic environment. Assist residents and families with adjustment to changes from Institutional hospitalizations into community settings. Assist in crisis intervention as needed, providing 1:1 supervision, using redirection and behavioral de-escalation techniques. Provide resident care and behavioral support services to facility residents, including (but not limited to) one to one intervention and implementing established BSP clinical care plans. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Behavioral interdisciplinary team to create and maintain a respectful and resident care focused therapeutic environment. Assist residents and families with adjustment to changes from Institutional hospitalizations into community settings. Participate in resident care conferences and BSS reviews as needed. Assist in crisis intervention as needed, providing 1:1 supervision, using redirection and behavioral de-escalation techniques. Assist residents to maximize at the highest behavioral, social, and functional living skills. Assists with resident therapeutic groups, appointments, transportation, and recreational activities as needed. Requirements: *Washington State Department of Health Certification as a Nursing Assistant or HCA (Home Care Aide) Certification. Additional Requirements: Successful completion CPR/First Aid certification, and various behavioral health, de-escalation, crisis intervention training within 30 days of employment Qualifications: CNA or HCA with one year experience providing care for individuals with chronic mental health issues, dementia, or intellectual and developmental disabilities in a long-term care or behavioral health care setting. Additional Requirements: Successful completion CPR /First Aid certification, Mental Health Specialty training and various behavioral health, de-escalation, crisis intervention training within 30 days of employment
