We are seeking an Audiologist at our Tacoma, WA clinic to help ensure our service members get the best care possible. You will play a vital role in the continued care of these men and women.

Your Role at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska,:

As an Audiologist with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will apply the principles of hearing science and audiology to formulate an Independent Medical Opinion (IMO) and/or independent medical exam to a unique claimant population of past and present military service members. The scope of practice of the audiologist is to provide a professional opinion to the severity of the hearing problem, the diagnosis, the causation, and assessing the probability that the hearing problem is related to military service.

Pay Range:

- - Salary: $90k-$170k w/ quarterly bonus eligibility (Based on combination of relevant experience, education, and other relevant qualifications)

Work Schedule, Location, and Other Information:

- - Generally Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm. Possible infrequent weekends/evening coverage depending on clinic needs but max hours per week will be 40.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- - Responsible for administering and interpreting a variety of tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, such as air and bone conduction, and speech reception and discrimination tests, the site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech.

``` - - Evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational and conduct medical record reviews of past audiograms and documents to determine the likely cause of the hearing loss, and to state the prognosis and address the issues of hearing loss and tinnitus.
