Hourly wage: $20.00
Position Summary:
Full-time position available for our WIC/Nutrition Programs in Tacoma and University Place, Pierce County. The applicant must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Applicant will be responsible for client enrollments, terminations, orientations provides food benefits, and maintaining client files. The applicant also identifies and makes nutrition and other health-related referrals, performs client risk assessments and provides basic nutrition education in individual and group settings. Additionally, this position also assists with the Nutrition Program clerical support, which can include completing participant reports, maintaining records and monthly statistics.
Requirements:
Valid state Driver’s License required
Access to an insured vehicle
High School diploma or GED required
Experience with the WIC program and/or interest in nutrition desirable
Excellent customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred not required
