Job Description:
Job Title: Field Program Manager
As a Field Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the daily operations of the Innovation Center. You will play a vital role in the execution of machine installations and retrofitting activities, while coordinating with stakeholders on program schedules and testing timelines. This position demands a strong background in mechanical engineering and program management. Experience with various automation and MHE technologies, and vendor management is required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
· Managing highly complex concurrent projects related to the deployment of engineering solutions
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive daily testing schedule for the lab.
· Coordinate with product owners to ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to timelines.
· Lead the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment for last mile automation and robotics in our R&D testing center, coordinating schedules between internal teams and external vendors
· Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure installations meet technical specifications in accordance with Standards
· Troubleshoot and address issues that arise during installation and commissioning
· Managing and prioritizing on-site resources for effective and efficient installation processes
· Ensure compliance with local documentation standards and industry regulations
· Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and laboratory staff to communicate retrofit execution status, risk and completion to achieve project goals
A Day in the Life
You will plan and manage execution of engineering projects in Innovation & Design Testing Center in MEU. Your day could include cross-functional engagement with product owners and vendors, attend the site to monitor deployment progresses, plan and manage resources to execute activities according to business goals, enable efficient mechanisms, and finally celebrating in the successful launches of each of the projects... Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline.
· Working experience in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent
· Experience in installation and commissioning of automated machinery and entire systems
· Proficiency in planning and analysis tools: Excel & Microsoft Project or similar
· Proficiency in AutoCAD software or similar
· Strong pro-active problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
· Knowledge of local safety regulations and compliance standards.
· Written and spoken proficiency in English language
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master Degree in Engineering or Business equivalent
· Experience with working within Logistics Automated environment
· Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environment
· Ability to communicate across an increasing diversity of areas (i.e. legal, Operations, Finance, Safety, regulatory, external industry groups, etc.)
