*Our client is a major manufacturer and distributor of small metal fabrication parts needed to assemble large aircraft. They are also a major supplier to one of the biggest aircraft manufacturers in the world. We are searching for a reliable and diligent Machine Operator and Forklift Driver to join our client's main operation in Sumner, WA. *

• [Position:]{.underline} Machine Operator/Forklift Driver - Temp to Hire
• [Payrate:]{.underline} $21-23 per hour (Pay will start at $21/hr and increase to $23/hr if you are meeting expectations after the first week)
• [Shift:]{.underline} 4am to 12:30pm, Mon-Fri (OT as needed)
• [Location:]{.underline} Sumner, WA

[This position is a combination of Machine Operation and Forklift. You will:]{.underline}

• Dial buttons on the panel, operating the panel start-stop process
• Measure the metal part, and set the machine to cut to that length
• Confirm the orders that come in, get the measurements, directions, and instructions from the operations team
• Conduct inspections of the product after it's finished fabricating
• Log the data into the system, and document everything accordingly
• When you are not working on the machine, you will be operating a Sit-Down Forklift, helping to move the products around.

[What we're looking for in a qualified candidate:]{.underline}

• Min 1 year Machine Operator experience, preferably in metal manufacturing or similar environment.
• Forklift operating experience -- have been trained and certified to operate.
• Proficient with basic hand tools, including tape measure, and have good math skills.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Have a professional attitude. Communicate well, both written and verbal.
• Punctual and reliable. Strive to get projects done while meeting deadlines.
