Insight Global Data Scientist in Sumner, Washington

Job Description

Understand the business reality and discover actionable insights from large volumes of data

 Decompose aggregated measurement data into its singular components and assist with putting mechanisms in place to measure, track, and visualize

 Help validation teams to determine how to apply the right statistical rigor in their work

 Develop statistical and machine learning models to identify trends, patterns in qualitative data.

 Use rate information, and other critical measurements, to provide a standard template for site selection.

 Develop search algorithms for text-based voice of customer comments and perform the necessary calculations to determine priority of findings.

 Innovate by adapting new modeling techniques and procedures

 Use code to analyze data and build statistical and machine learning models/algorithms

 Partner with developers and business teams to test your models in production

 Utilize data analysis and visualization tools (JMP, Tableau, Minitab, etc.) to turn data into information

 Predictive analysis and data extrapolation

 Author and maintain technical documentation for data models and analytics solutions

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of experience as an Analytics & Statistical Engineer or Data Scientist

 Proficiency in SQL

 Proficiency in Python / R , Minitab, or equivalent

 Proficiency with one or more data visualization tools (Tableau, JMP, PowerBI, etc.)

 Master's degree in a quantitative field, or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science experience Experience with HW design verification / validation

 Experience working in a manufacturing / warehouse environment

 Large language Models / AI null
