Under direct supervision, remove plaster from duct.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Removes bagging materials from cured ducts.
Using hand vibrator and hand tools removes plaster from inside of duct.
Performs surface preparation, including sanding, taping and cleaning.
Follows established Standard Work Instructions, departmental policies and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety environmental control standards.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes workplace safety.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Specific Job Skills:
• Ability to read and understand detailed instruction; read blueprints; perform mathematical calculations. • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade. • Excellent hand/eye coordination. • Able to communicate questions and concerns with others in work group
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, and/or one-year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
