North County Regional Fire Authority CARES Coordinator 1 in Stanwood, Washington
North County Fire & EMS is seeking a CARES Coordinator 1 to support our Community Assistance, Referral, and Education Services (CARES) program. This non-clinical role focuses on improving individual and community health outcomes by connecting residents with essential resources, reducing unnecessary 911 calls, and providing short-term case management. The position works closely with the North Sound Accountable Community of Health (NSACH) and functions within a regional network to coordinate care through a centralized referral system (The HUB).
This position is fully funded through a partnership with NSACH, with funding currently anticipated through December 31, 2025. While long-term sustainability is a priority for the funding partner, continued employment is contingent on funding availability and renewal.

Salary & Application Details
Salary Range: The full salary range (annualized) for this position is $73,446.43 (Pay Step 1) to $95,006.99 (Pay Step 14). The selected candidate is anticipated to start at Pay Step 1; however, the starting Pay Step within the full salary range is based on their qualifying education, training, and prior experience in a comparable position.
