*Summary:\ *Provide eligibility assessment to homeless or at-risk individuals who seek WFS program services. Provide direct services to homeless and at-risk participants through coordinated entry assessment and other appropriate program referral services within WFS or in the community. Develop community resources to enhance the ability of the participants to maintain permanent housing.
Education andExperience:\ Bachelor\'s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include thefollowing:
- Facilitate Person Centered Planning to determine goals related to long-term housing stability, recommend appropriate services to achieve goals, and oversee the program and goals agreed upon. Revise as necessary.
- Assist with screening of referrals for appropriate program and service options.
- Review each participant\'s referral information, vocational assessments, psychological profiles, work assets and/or limitations, and other available information to determine appropriate interventions.
- Perform Coordinated Entry assessments, triage, Diversion discussions, and refer participants for enrollment into WFS Program or to other resources.
- Provide community resources for individuals who do not qualify for Goodwill services, such as where to go and how to apply.
- Interpret and explain information, such as eligibility requirements, application details, and program specific information.
- Ensure all paperwork and related activities are current, accurate, and in compliance. Includes Coordinated entry assessments, FCS Assessments, intakes, case notes, logs, and service reports.
- Enter required data into the participant case management database in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend meetings, conferences, trainings, and workshops as approved or required by supervisor.
- Model appropriate work behaviors and interpersonal skills.
- Inform Program Manager of any unusual events that occur, and document appropriately for incident.
- Make necessary notifications, when required to law enforcement, to supervisors and other appropriate individuals.
- Demonstrate respect and value all participants, regardless of circumstances, behavior, or needs.
- Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest assuring safety of personnel or property.
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain agency confidentiality. Violation of confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.
- Comply with and promote good safety practices. Maintain an orderly work area. Comply with all health, safety, and fire standards and all local, state, and federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA).
