Parametrix Water/Industrial Engineer in Spokane, Washington

We are looking for the following positions: Engineer II/III - This position will support our industrial practice, which includes designing water treatment systems, managing industrial sludge, developing recycled water plans, collecting stormwater/wastewater samples, developing complex water balances, and using software programs like Civil 3D, GoldSim, and hydraulic software programs. You have a Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or another field combined with an environmental focus), EIT and 3+ years with water treatment, industrial processes, and environmental compliance. Base salary for this position is in the range of $82,000-$90,000+. Senior Engineer - This position will be a right-hand partner to our existing team members and will have the opportunity to interface with clients, manage projects, and pursue work. This position will learn alongside our current team from a great mentor committed to bringing up the next generation of leaders. You have a Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or another field combined with an environmental focus), PE and 15+ years with water treatment, industrial processes, and environmental compliance. Base salary for this position is in the range of $120,000-$140,000+. Some of Parametrix's key Environmental Engineering clients include the Northwest Seaport Alliance; Ports of Sunnyside, Olympia, and Morrow; Schnitzer Steel; EPA; Seattle Public Utilities; Snohomish, Grant, King, Kitsap, Kootenai, and Okanogan counties; the cities of Richland and Bremerton, and several confidential private clients. We offer remote flexibility and embrace work/life balance. This position can be based out of Washington State or work entirely remotely with occasional travel throughout the Pacific Northwest for client and project meetings when safe to resume. Who you are: Strong Technical Focus: Capable of delivering varied civil and environmental projects with an emphasis on projects focused on industrial stormwater, water, and wastewater management and treatment; RI/FS and remedial design, particularly surface water, and industrial wastewater.
