Humanix Warehouse Worker – Weekend Shift, Temporary in Spokane, Washington
We are seeking a Temporary Warehouse Worker for the weekend shift to come and work at a Spokane WA manufacturing company's warehouse and distribution team. Compensation for the Warehouse Worker
- $17 - $19.50 Per hour depending on shift differential according to hours worked
- Week 1 new hire orientation: -- Fri., 8 am -- 4:30 pm
- Week 2 training starts for 6 months: -- Sun., 6 pm -- 6 am
- After 6 months of training, permanent schedule will be: -- Sun., 6 am -- 6 pm
This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential for hire for the stellar employee.
Responsibilities for the Warehouse Worker
- Complete receiving of materials, including sensitive compounds, adhering to General Manufacturing Process and Non- General Manufacturing Process guidelines.
- Process transfer orders, sales orders, and reservations accurately and timely.
- Support and process international and domestic shipments.
- Audit inventory with regular cycle counting to maintain accuracy.
- Operate pallet inverter, pallet jack, and forklifts (sit-down and reach trucks).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the Warehouse and Distribution departments.
Assist with departmental SOP reviews and compliance checks.
Requirements for the Warehouse Worker
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Forklift experience is essential.
- At least 1 year of related experience in warehouse or distribution.
- Must be able to operate pallet jack, sit-down forklift, and reach trucks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus; SAP experience is highly desired.
- Prior experience in an FDA-regulated industry is preferred.
- Physical requirements: lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted, 20/30 corrected near-point vision, perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, bending, stooping, and prolonged standing.
CANNOT WEAR jewelry (Including wedding bands), perfume/cologne, lotions, and/or makeup. Deodorant is allowed.
