Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented driver to perform delivery driving in a 26ft box truck.

• This role involves multiple overnights each week, with no warehouse work initially.

• Once another truck is acquired, routes will be split among two drivers, allowing for more time to be spent in the shop.

• The driver will have Mondays off and will start their week on Tuesday with a pre-loaded truck.

• The routes include deliveries in the Montana area from Tuesday to Thursday, and in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders, package, palletize, and load will-call and outgoing shipments on trucks.

• Review the Delivery Manifest and verify each item for accuracy while managing paperwork.

• Assist customers in identifying all delivered items and obtain verifying signatures.

• Receive inventory and assist with quarterly inventory counts.

Essential Skills

• DOT medical non-CDL driving certification

• Attention to detail for managing paperwork

• Customer service skills, including interaction with difficult customers

• Forklift experience

• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs frequently, with some products weighing up to 90-120lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners

• Proficiency in shipping and receiving tasks

• Experience in warehouse and driving environments

• Order picking and loading/unloading trucks

Work Environment

• You will be working in a small warehouse with approximately 4-5 other people.

• The role involves driving a 26ft box truck with air brakes.

• The delivery route includes traveling from Thursday morning up through Wenatchee, Yakima, Tri-cities, then Oregon, and back down through Colfax.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
