Job Purpose This position provides clear, thorough, and knowledgeable customer service related to Terra Dotta (TD) Software for Study Abroad (SA) in order to support a streamlined experience for all stakeholders. The role serves as the primary Terra Dotta administrator for the the SA team, manages day-to-day tasks within the software platform, and is the main point of contact for users of the software. The coordinator will serve as the data manager and facilitate data collection, reporting and analytics efforts to expand study abroad access and capacity and will monitor best practices in the field to advise on software usage and improvements, coordinate, develop, and execute Terra Dotta training program for all users, create handouts, quick references, and guides for users, and demonstrate ability to self-train and learn new software as needed. In addition, this position will provide support for coding in banner and website updates as needed. This hire will lighten the heavy administrative load of the Associate Director of Study Abroad, the Senior Study Abroad Advisor, and the Assistant Director, allowing them to focus on student advising and pre-departure training for global experiences, engage in portfolio cross-training to minimize disruption in case of absences or departures, enhance their awareness of mental health challenges and resources, train to support the complexity of managing crises abroad, and actively participate actively in the current campus-wide strategic plan and diversity conversations.
