Job Description
Avista is looking for a college student to join our team in Transportation Electrification. This position will support a variety of operational and administrative tasks in Transportation Electrification, working closely with product managers and engineering, as well as detailed technical analysis, internal and external written reporting as directed. Work may involve assisting with EV charging installation programs, equipment reliability, analysis of EV load profiles and charging behavior, as well as supporting operational improvements and new program development.
If available, the student would be allowed to work full time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be an undergraduate student (entering Junior or Senior year preferred) attending a college or university full-time or planning to attend school full-time in the upcoming semester or quarter.
The ideal candidate will be versatile and technically competent, able to analyze data and conduct business research for insights and write excellent technical reports. Customer service experience is very helpful, as well as proficiency in advanced Excel and MS Office. Knowledge of VBA programming, computer languages including Python, as well as Tableau and Javascript for data visualization are desirable, in addition to working experience and/or academic coursework in Management Information Systems (MIS).
