Inland Power & Light Company Software Developer in Spokane, Washington

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the software developer is to design, develop, and maintain software applications or systems by writing clean, efficient code that meets Inland's requirements. The software developer will collaborate closely with team members and managers to solve complex problems and create solutions that are tested for functionality and reliability. The software developer will stay current with technological advancements and best practices to deliver high-quality software that aligns with organizational goals with a focus on innovation, member satisfaction, and the seamless integration of new technologies to enhance software performance and user experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as part of a small development team.

Design web APIs using C#, .NET Core, and Azure.

Integrate with applications including Power BI, Power Apps, Excel, and a variety of web based front ends.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering
