Senior Director, Partner Relationship Management, Strategic Partnerships

Do you want to be a leader within a leading global corporation in the Fintech Payments space whose aspiration is to move money and information in a way that moves the world? Do you want to manage partnerships with both Fintechs and the largest technology companies by market capitalization in the world? If so, this role may be for you. The Sr Director, Partner Relationship Management will:

  • Be a payments expert that executes end-to-end Pan-Fiserv partnerships with CA/WA state based Big-Tech and FinTech partners.

  • Execute a business plan and go-to-market strategy to increase Fiserv revenues within the Global Corporate Technology Vertical via the expansion of existing relationships and partnership with Fintech and large consumer facing Technology Corporations.

  • Collaborate across the organization to deliver innovation that results in a positive end user experience and profitable growth.

  • Own developing new business, expanding existing partnerships, and executing on existing revenue opportunities.

  • Collaborate with our Product Leaders, Sales Leaders, Solution Consultants, Account Management, and Tech/Legal/Operations teams.

  • Drive initiatives that achieve revenue, sales, and partnership goals; create pan-Fiserv deal structures that leverage value exchange to balance competing interests and advance overall partnership objectives when appropriate.

  • Extend and retain partnerships via contract renewals that maximize margin.

  • Drive product co-creation, ecosystem knowledge sharing, and partnership/alliance initiatives that align to the product and industry team objectives to deliver impact and ultimately recurring revenue.

  • Identify and influence opportunities for operational effectiveness and improving the end-user experience.

  • Represent Fiserv in all aspects of the relationship by leveraging their payments industry personal brands and expertise to become trusted-advisors both internally and externally; model the Fiserv philosophies and skill sets.

Responsible for:

  • Understanding payments technology trends across large technology companies and Fintechs.

  • Learning partner business drivers and strategies, competitive position in the marketplace, industry trends, key strategic partner relationships, as well as the strategic vision of key executives and decision makers.

  • Owning the long-term partner relationship plan and ensuring partnership commitments are negotiated and adhered to.

  • Developing and executing payment industry-based knowledge sharing, product co-creation, and ecosystem & alliance activities.

  • Communication at the C-level, with key executives, key decision makers and influencers and acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives within the organization.

  • Cooperating and collaborating with the Fiserv business units and sales teams to realize revenue growth and bring strategic partnership opportunities to life; structuring and leading bundled Pan-Fiserv deals

  • Leading key initiatives and partnering closely with internal Sales Team, Product Teams, and Consulting teams to drive revenue, sales, and partnership objectives forward.

  • Eliminating obstacles in high priority deals to ensure pursuit teams are successful in closing contracts.

  • Providing thought leadership around key market and industry insights

Job Related Experience:

  • 15 years of overall professional experience with 7+ years payments industry experience in a large technology company (or a Fintech that partners with Big Tech), financial services, or top tier consulting firm advising on payment industry trends or products.

  • E-Commerce or start-up experience is a plus.

  • Strong communicator and track record of regular C-Suite level communication, including as a trusted payments advisor.

  • Experience in business negotiations with large complex deals in the payments, financial services, or technology industry.

  • Experience working for a technology Product or Services company (Fintech or Big Tech and/or E-Commerce experience)

  • A history of meeting and exceeding financial commitments.

  • West Coast based with ability to travel as required to meet with both internal and external partners.

  • Top Tier relevant graduate school experience a plus

Salary Range

$130,944.00 - $288,156.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
