As a Senior Commuinications Specialist you will be responsible for concepting and developing compelling creative copy to support the Bank's goals and engaging a range of target audiences. This is achieved by using superior writing and editing skills to develop, research and write a wide variety of high-quality marketing, advertising, public relations and communications content. Drawing on project coordination skills, this position collaborates within the team and with stakeholders across the company to create engaging copy that speaks to our brand and advances our strategic position. This includes participating in brainstorming and idea-development sessions and sometimes fulfilling the role of designated writing resource for broader company projects. They serve as an advocate for the Bank's brand voice, including coaching other employees as appropriate. This position is a member of the Public Relations & Communications team and the greater Marketing & Communications team. In this role you'll have the opportunity to: Develops a wide range of industry-related content for numerous delivery channels and audiences in a fast-paced work environment. Provides high-quality targeted and technically accurate content including advertising copy, marketing collateral, authored articles, social media posts, web content, presentation and letters. The primary focus is external audiences but also includes limited employee and other internal stakeholders. Assists SVP, PR & Communications, with strategic story planning, writing and editing as well as serving as an advocate for the Bank's brand voice, including coaching other employees as appropriate. Understands the strategy driving the copy and balances it with what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it. Uses writing skills to simplify complex topics, when needed, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure the highest level of comprehension by the audience. Utilizes current industry nomenclature and stays informed of information relevant to this industry while ensuring accuracy and brand awareness. Utilizes well-honed organizational and technical skills within a team environment to effectively promote and brand and contribute to the company's success. Serves as a subject matter expert of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style, as well as content creation and distribution. Possesses the flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities, while juggling multiple projects and remaining a detail oriented, collaborative team player. Meets all deadlines to assure completion of deliverables and execution of projects, adhering to quality standards with limited supervision. Uses discretion, poise and tact when interacting with internal clients, members of the community and other stakeholders.
