Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in month-end close processes, expertise in complex journal entries, and a strong background in reconciliations, fixed assets, and accruals. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Prepare and post complex journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Maintain and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules in accordance with established policies.

• Manage accruals and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.

• Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create advanced financial models, reports, and data analysis tools (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).

• Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to facilitate seamless financial operations and reporting.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong focus on month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas).

• Knowledge of fixed assets and accrual accounting processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
