Job Title: Science - Tutor - Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1 Location: Spokane, WA Job Type: Part Time Department: SCC Arts & Sciences Division Closing: Continuous Salary: \$18.20 - \$24.23 Hourly

Starting salary for this position is: \$18.66 (Hourly)

Employees starting at the entry step of this range receive salary step advancement after six months and every 12 months thereafter. If an employee starting at anything higher than the entry step of the range, will have salary step advancement after 12 months and salary step advancement every 12 months thereafter until they reach the top of the salary range. Each salary step advancement will be approximately a 5% increase in salary.

The Community Colleges of Spokane is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Instruction & Classroom Support in the Arts & Science Division.

GENERAL DEFINITION

Positions work under general supervision of the Assistant Dean of Arts & Sciences Division. Positions assist the supervisor by performing routine instructional support services for the division. Duties include activities such as assisting in preparing materials for use in a classroom or laboratory; assisting students in coursework assignments, individualized, and group instruction for development of learning skills such as reading, writing, study skills, or other discipline-specific instructional areas.
