About the role Plans, leads, and coordinates project activities, including formulating project objectives, policies, procedures, site mobilization activities and performance standards for work activities for a particular project. Coordinates, understands, and enforces subcontractor assignment and scope of work. Takes lead on productivity issues and monitors work performance and productivity of company employees and subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedule. Evaluates and monitors subcontractors / vendors contract performance and ensures compliance to contractual obligations. Ensures timely compliance with all internal and external document and record keeping requirements, with particular emphasis on accurate daily reports/logs, as well as required legal, safety, environmental, and manpower documentation Ensures construction activities are implemented, conducts pre-construction meeting with all stakeholders, guides project teams. During course of project is responsible for monitoring the project schedule meeting all milestones, timelines, and manage Schedule of Values. Reviews and processes Owner and Subcontractor change orders. Monitor all work for adherence to plans, specifications, safety, and quality. Ensures implementation of safety program and daily safety inspections that create a safe and healthy work environment throughout the job site and adheres to OSHA safety and record keeping requirements. Typical Physical Demands: Work is performed in a temporary office and construction site environment. Exterior work may include working inclement weather conditions.
