Actalent Project Engineer in Spokane, Washington
Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description
Provides direct support to the Superintendent and Project Manager. Reviews, processes, and maintains submittals and RFIs. Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the construction project remains on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
Review submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings.
Create and maintain submittal log.
Process submittals and keep the project team apprised of schedule needs.
Review RFIs from subcontractors/suppliers prior to forwarding them to the designer.
Log, submit, track, and distribute RFIs.
Understand the scope of design changes documents.
Post design documents with RFIs and design changes.
File project documentation.
Communicate in a professional manner.
Understand the schedule needs of the project and communicate such with subcontractors/suppliers.
Produce accurate quantity take-offs.
Assemble O&M manuals.
Manage extra stock and equipment transfer to the owner.
Assist with the update of as-built drawings.
Assist with tracking work orders.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction management.
Proficiency in project engineering.
Experience with Bluebeam.
Experience with RFIs.
Skills in project management, bidding, and proposal writing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with bidding.
Experience with proposal writing.
Project management experience.
Work Environment
Work is conducted both onsite and at client sites. The role involves interacting with various stakeholders and maintaining a professional demeanor. The company has a steady backlog of work, providing job stability.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
