This role will be actively engaged in supporting this deployment by facilitating, documenting, and maintaining project decisions, schedules, work flows, change requests, purchase orders, requisitions, material forecasts, budget forecasts and tracking, process improvements, change impact documentation, project status updates, and other critical tasks as identified by the project team.
Assists with creating, updating, and tracking project schedule
Facilitates, documents, and maintains key project decisions and other tasks on SharePoint
Responsible for building workflows, documenting change impacts, and supporting impacted stakeholders in building current and future state project workflows that will be used for long term AMI solution support
Responsible for preparing and storing project change requests (PCRs) as needed to support the project manager
Responsible for maintaining the monthly equipment forecasts and ensuring the timeliness of the purchase orders and requisitions for metering-related equipment
Responsible for reviewing the monthly budget and updating financial forecasts based on actuals and project manager feedback
Assists with risk/issue log maintenance and decisions/action items list on the project SharePoint site
Responsible for providing backup in the administration and refinement of Department office procedures. Maintains records management systems.
Responsible for providing resource performance data to project manager and management.
Interfaces with outside consultants, contractors, and internal organizations, as needed.
Make recommendations for adjustments to project scope, timing, and budgets of projects, if needed.
Obtain commitment of detailed work plans including but not limited to schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
Tracks key project milestones, performance and recommends adjustments.
Participate in the bid/award activities for construction contracts or partnering agreements.
