As a Payment Operations Team Lead with Banner Bank you will work in specific payment operations functions while providing exceptional customer service and staff support. Oversee and cordinate the workflow of multiple operational processes and tasks. Support departments and branches through the review and documentation of multiple critical and regulatory functions. Provide and support bank staff with training on complex functions for procedures, applications, and processes. Ensure client data remains confidential and secure, processes are completed in accordance with Bank policies, and key processing deadlines are met. Make recommendations for operational efficiencies, procedures and processes. Support the bank's strategic business plans, projects and processes. In this role you'll have the opportunity to: Lead and support staff for assigned operational area(s), coordinating workflow to ensure deadlines are met and service levels are attained. Available as the first line of escalation for questions and support of teammates. Provide exceptional customer service via email and telephoned, supporting the all teams with more complex issues. Responsible for ensuring transactions, reports and certification are balanced, accurate and completed timely. Assist in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity testing and real event tactical team Participate in various bank-wide projects. Responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews and First Line of Defense testing. Analyzing results of reviews and testing to provide recommendations for process improvements, training opportunities, and coaching. Responsible for complying with bank policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations. Education & Certifications H.S. Diploma: required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) Experience 4 or more years of experience in retail banking operations and project oversight required 0 to 2 years of experience leading a project, process or team required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Possess excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven organizational skills and attention to detail required. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to positively influence others. Possess strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to successfully manage, motivate, and train staff. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring critical deadlines are met. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to lead by example. Proven ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures. Possess in-depth, hands-on knowledge of, and experience with banking applications. Ability to work independently and with a team; be self-motivated with little direct supervision while effectively managing time and resources.
