DescriptionOperations Supervisor Opportunity OverviewOversee and coordinate the workflow of teams in a specific operations function. Provide and ensure exceptional customer service, supervise function-specific, day-to-day operations tasks, and review system requirements. Support branches through review and documentation of multiple critical functions. Provide Bank staff with training, ensure adherence to policies and regulations, and respond to inquiries on complex functions for procedures, applications, and access.As a Operations Supervisor with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:Oversee operational support functions, coordinating workflow to ensure deadlines are met and service levels are attained. Develop and lead operations support staff to provide exceptional service. Partner with department managers to assess departmental training needs and objectives. Drive the design, development, and delivery of training programs and individual classes.Oversee the administration and user access of function-specific systems and applications.Responsible for ensuring that operations and key controls are performed efficiently, with consistent adherence to service level agreements. Ensure transactions, reports, and certifications are balanced, accurate, and complete.Responsible for leading elements of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity testing and real event tactical team. Lead and participate in critical, bank wide problem solving projects. Oversee the analysis of results of user feedback and make recommendations for support process improvement. Using the analysis of documented resolutions, advise senior management on ways to prevent repeated problems.Drive operational efficiency through initiating solutions and leading various projects targeting improvement. Analyze programs, processes, and procedures. Make recommendations, implement changes, and ensure adequate control monitors to manage risk, regulatory compliance, and quality.Overall leadership of staff including hiring, training, development, performance evaluations, goal setting, and coaching. Work closely with team members and management in supporting operational excellence.Responsible forResponsible for managing and leading projects, approving exceptions within assigned limits, and backing up the Operations Manager in their absence.Responsible for complying with, and ensuring staff follows, policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations. Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's Degree in related field preferredExperience1+ years of related experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking operations required1+ years of bank operations management experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPossess excellent customer service, analytical, and problem solving skills. Proven organizational skills and attention to detail required. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to positively influence others. Possess strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to successfully manage, motivate, and train staff.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring critical deadlines are met.
