Starting salary for this position is: $40.83 - $86.87 per hour based on workload category.
This is an adjunct (part-time) position. Compensation will be pro-rated according to the amount of workload assigned. CCS reserves the right to cancel this recruitment without notice. Academic employees are represented by the Association of Higher Education (AHE), which is affiliated with NEA and WEA. Membership is optional.

About the Nursing Instructor - Adjunct
Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for teaching-learning process in the laboratory and clinical setting.
• Provides availability and accessibility to students for purpose of academic support, in a manner appropriate to meet student needs, though an effective means of responsive and timely communication
• Keeps open communication with Nursing Department Chairs and Course Coordinators to assure relevancy of information for program accreditation and program student success.
• Complies with state and federal law applicable to processional duties and responsibilities. Follows established procedures and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current medical surgical, obstetrics, or psychiatric nursing experience.
Desired Qualifications
• Recent college-level teaching experience.
• Familiarity with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
• Ability to employ various formats and styles in teaching.
• Be an advocate of community college education.
