The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The Journey Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A Journey MA-R performs all aspects of the Associate MA-R role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. A Journey MA-R is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. Medical Assistant Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification Or Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 6 months Healthcare experience 6 months Medical Assistant experience Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam Medical Assistant, Salary Range: Spokane, WA Min: $18.50, Max: $28.27 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $22.19/hr or higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Registered Required Qualifications: Within 60 days of hire Washington Medical Assistant Registration Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 6 months Healthcare experience 6 months Medical Assistant experience Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range: Spokane, WA Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.
