Umpqua Bank Loan Support Servicing Supervisor in Spokane, Washington
In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight to assigned area, ensuring efficient service for the bank's customers and employees, while advancing your skills and industry knowledge to enhance your upward mobility. You will manage department workflow while adhering to operating policies and guidelines and be responsible for increasingly challenging assignments and customer problems which represent the greatest exposure to the bank in terms of service quality or monetary loss.
Responsible for efficient, effective internal and external customer service within assigned department. Oversee scheduling, prioritize workflow, and delegate tasks to resolve complex customer service issues.
Oversee department functions to ensure timeliness and compliance with regulatory procedures with minimal supervisory oversight.
Maintain accurate accounting applications and ensure loan files are perfected and maintained in a manner consistent with bank policy and lending regulations. Ensure policies and procedures are documented, compliant and updated.
Address various employee and business-related matters of progressively increasing complexity and responsibility.
Lead, mentor, and train others with a moderate degree of oversight and guidance while directing and assigning the work of others.
Partner with Loan Support Servicing Manager in department assessments to identify potential problem areas. Responsible for implementing corrective measures and training in response to findings.
Conduct annual performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and corrective actions.
Partner with manager to ensure staffing and scheduling needs.
Coordinate the lending function through the assembly of loan documents. Monitor file completeness, document accuracy, and quality. Compile information, and prepare reports and analysis of department operations for the Compliance Department.
Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.
Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.

Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of financial industry experience.
3-5 years of loan support experience preferred.
3-5 of previous lead or supervisory experience required.
Intermediate knowledge of loan structures, as well as documentation and servicing requirements and regulatory and compliance issues related to loan documentation.
Basic accounting knowledge to process Accounts Payable and balance General Ledger accounts.
