Honeywell Lead Supply Planner in Spokane, Washington

As a Lead Supply Planner, you will be responsible for the supply planning portion of the business SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process to reach a consensus on manufactured and purchased volume commitments, while also escalating and resolving capacity constraints in partnership with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. You will hold responsibility for one or more key businesses supporting the semiconductor industry. You will be accountable for setting replenishment strategies and controlling inventory of critical raw materials and finished goods to ensure on-time customer shipments while reducing working capital requirements. The scope includes both long-term planning across the 18-month horizon as well as some detailed near-term scheduling. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and demand forecasting in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SIOP supply planning process, including translation of demand plan into feasible supply plan requirements

  • Capacity planning (assets, materials supply, contract manufacturers)

  • Identify and escalate materials constraints with procurement for resolution

  • Set inventory replenishment strategy for assigned materials, including target inventory levels

  • Forecast and control inventory at planned levels

  • Drive inventory optimization projects to support working capital initiatives

  • Maintain accurate supply and inventory plans in our system of record

  • Maintain material master data

  • Optimize cost through make vs buy decisions and distribution network planning

  • Routinely interface with customers to communicate the status of sales orders and consignment inventory

  • Develop, track, and communicate projection of current month revenue based on the latest shipment schedules

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100K - $125K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience working with manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics operations

  • 1+ years of experience working with MS Excel and PowerPoint applications

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or business-related field

  • Self-starter; ability to work with little to no supervision

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization, including presentation skills

  • Ability to influence others and reach consensus with internal and external customers

  • Ability to build long-term working relationships with team and customer base both internal and external

  • Able to resolve conflicts that arise in the course of the work to be accomplished

  • Good knowledge and experience with relevant SAP modules (MM, PP, SD) and Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (SAP APO or similar)

  • APICS certification

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
