We know our success depends on your success. The Inventory Analyst is a hybrid local role with travel required. What you will do Monitors safety stock and inventory targets for finished goods cases, paper and packaging in order to meet customer demand, while optimizing our inventory position and minimizing obsolescence. Assist with the successful business development, maintenance, and usage of the Value Chain Planning systems (VCP). Inventory Planning Work with Planning teams, Warehousing and Operations to ensure inventory levels are optimized and obsolescence is minimized Facilitate item transitions process by communicating run out plans to minimize inventory write-offs Maintain tools and reports to measure and track inventory health with focus on item transitions Maintain monthly inputs used to calculate safety stocks and inventory targets for cases, paper and packaging Monitors projected inventory levels at all warehouses, and communicates anticipated fluctuations and recommends solutions Sales and Operations Planning Support Participate in monthly meetings with Planning teams to communicate longer term plans that feed into the master scheduling process (master plan to master schedule) Partner with and coordinate activities across the sales, manufacturing and distribution network to ensure overall success in implementing plans Provide support to Sales and Operations Planning process as the key resource for inventory data Facilitate communication between warehouses and supply chain in support of major S&OP initiatives Planning System Maintenance and Data Integrity Leverage the Inventory Optimization (IO) module within the Value Chain Planning (VCP) system to provide recommendations Monitors accuracy of data utilized in calculating safety stocks - including weekly data, history, network changes, lead times new products, and expected service rates Planning System maintenance relative to data, reports, and dashboards (IO/APCC) Key Competencies and Attributes Actively seeks and allocates appropriate decision-making authority or task responsibility to appropriate individuals based on their abilities, availability, motivation, and development needs; considers potential positive and negative impact, business unit priorities, organizational values, and the opportunity to enhance others' knowledge and skills.
