Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Spokane, Washington

Description

Our North Spokane client is looking for a seasoned Full Charge Bookkeeper to replace a retiring employee.

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle reconciliations for multiple entities, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/R, A/P and a few employees payroll. Qualified candidates should be self-driven and organized accounting professionals with reliable Transporation as business errands will be a must. This permanent employment opportunity is located in the North Spokane area. Hybrid work schedule is a possibility once fully trained for the right candidate - 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Being very detailed, accurate and conscience is a must- this is a very small company with an entrepreneur owner with multiple businesses locally. If you have any property management experience either residential or commercial, that will be a huge plus!

Job duties may include but are not limited to -

  • Report business license and gross receipts

  • Update Accounts Payable

  • Log budget transfers

  • Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Other distinguished projects when necessary

  • Adept in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable

  • Conduct monthly accounting close

  • Produce cash flow projections, as needed

    Requirements

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

  • High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

    • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Enterprise

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards
