This position provides a wide variety of support services for the financial operations of the Clerk's Office. Position: Financial Specialist Salary Range: CL 26 - $52,993 - $86,109, depending on experience Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 8 am -- 5pm Duty Station: Spokane, Washington Opening Date: January 18, 2024 Closing Date: Open until filled -- preference given to applications received before close of business on Monday, February 5, 2024 POSITION OVERVIEW: The Financial Specialist is a key member of the Financial Services Team serving the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. This position provides financial support to the Court through processing varying types of financial transactions ranging from procurement of goods and services to the disbursement of funds to vendors and travel reimbursements. The incumbent interprets and applies complex rules, regulations, and court orders, maintains a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness, while providing excellent customer service. The Financial Specialist reports to the Financial Administrator.
