About the Position

We are looking for a Marketing Field Service Representative to Provide field marketing and administrative support to the ground fuel and wholesale fuels team, customers, and co-workers. Market geographies include Idaho, E. Washington, and W. Montana. Serve as a Liaison between CityServiceValcon, our wholesale/retail customers, and branded suppliers to promote, train and enforce brand programs and standards as defined by our contractual obligations and supply partners to deliver on the CityServiceValcon brand promise

You’ll report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, working out of Spokane, WA or North Idaho, focusing on these key responsibilities:

  • Travel frequently to meet with customers and vendors to conduct business focused on the development and growth of our retail customers and their dealers.

  • Care and nurturing of existing ground fuel and wholesale fuel customers.

  • Aid and support of new customer onboarding activities.

  • Administration and support of supplier’s various brand programs including mystery shops, technology programs, promotions, and all other relevant offerings.

  • Deliver superior customer service to all dealers and unbranded customers through personal visits, correspondence, and electronic communications.

  • Assist Marketing Sales Representatives with Mystery Shop score recovery and failure cures.

  • Point out the benefits of using CityServiceValcon as a distributor, our brand affiliations and provide references of our existing customer base.

  • Provide support and assurance that the customer’s account information is set up properly and up to date after each site visit within CityServiceValcon system(s), including other supporting department programs (KACE, TMW, etc.…)

  • Support Marketing Sales Representative to assure personal attention throughout the entire branding process. Follow through the first few load deliveries to assure customer satisfaction of CityServiceValcon performance. Train the customer in invoice procedures, invoice appearance, order placement procedures, credit card procedures, price obtainment procedures, rebate incentive payments, and supplier funded marketing and technology support, etc. Follow up often during the initial purchasing and/or brand renewal stage with any customer.

  • Participate in bi-weekly ground fuel team meetings, one-on-one huddle sessions, industry trade events and/or company and departmental quarterly meetings as requested and scheduled.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience in sales administration or customer service.

  • Proficiency in various Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, One Note, Teams and Word.

  • Ability to learn company’s custom software including Sage CRM, DM2 and TMW.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continually changing environment

  • Must be able to deal with sensitive and personal information in a confidential manner.

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and priorities.

  • Ability to travel over 60% of the time.
