MHA SPEAKOUT SPEAKUP FCS Housing/Employment Specialist in SPOKANE, Washington
Full Time 40 per hours per week and pay will be based upon experience. Job Description : Foundational Community Supports (FCS) provides supportive housing and supported employment services to our most vulnerable Medicaid beneficiaries. These services are designed to promote self-sufficiency and recovery by helping participants find and maintain stable housing and employment.

::: {dir="auto"} Supportive housing services help individuals get and keep community housing. Supported employment services help individuals with barriers to employment get and keep a job.
::: {dir="auto"} The FCS program is for people with Apple Health (Medicaid) with behavioral or physical health issues. Your doctor, other provider, or your health plan may refer you to the program. If you think you qualify for services, talk with your provider. They will work with you to find out if you are qualified. :::

::: {dir="auto"} They may qualify for supportive housing services if you need support to get or keep housing, are 18 or older and have one or more of the following: :::

::: {dir="auto"} A history of homelessness :::
::: {dir="auto"} Lived in a residential or nursing facility :::
::: {dir="auto"} Multiple or long-term stays in hospitals or prisons :::
::: {dir="auto"} Need a lot of help with complex health issues :::
::: {dir="auto"} Had a lot of in-home caregivers :::
::: {dir="auto"} You may qualify for supported employment services if you need support to get or keep a job, are 16 or older and one or more of the following are true for you: :::

::: {dir="auto"} Your age, disability or injury, or health issues make it hard for you to keep a job :::
::: {dir="auto"} You've gotten substance use treatment in the hospital or a facility :::
::: {dir="auto"} You're in the Housing and Essential Needs (HEN) program :::
::: {dir="auto"} The conditions listed above do not guarantee eligibility. :::
Case management includes working with clients current/potential landlords, advocating for in stressful situations, providing community resources to help sustain daily living skills etc... We have attached some program flyers as well.
