SUMMARY For this position regulatory experience is a key qualification. We are looking for an experienced professional who can use their prior knowledge of commercial loans, loan reviews, and credit analysis to quickly become proficient in this role. Experience as an account officer who has completed credit analysis will also be considered. This position will perform on-site credit reviews as the lead examiner. Reviews may include the most complex branch examinations and unique loan situations. Field questions concerning risk ratings and other credit related issues. Review loan documentation and quarterly Problem Loan Status Reports. Follow-up on findings noted at the last on-site review. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned. Perform on-site reviews as the lead examiner, and with assistance, review files for compliance with loan policy and sound underwriting practices. Assigned certain branches to act as liaison between branches and Credit Review. Present findings of on-site reviews to senior management as needed. Assist in performing on-going department and bank personnel training. May also work as the lead examiner in performing due diligence exams on possible bank acquisitions. Must be flexible and work as part of the team, as well as work independently to meet deadlines and goals. Job includes approximately 10-15% travel time. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or (B.S.) from four-year college or university and 4+ years of regulatory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education/training; Commercial or Ag lending experience preferred; proficiency in Commercial Credit analysis preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
