Here, leaders inspire, build trust and empower employees to achieve their best.The Credit and Accounts Receivable Manager (CARM) will have responsibility to lead all Credit and AR efforts on behalf of Stoneway. The CARM will have oversight for customers' credit worthiness, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities for increasing sales, profitability, and return on investment. This position will work to optimize processes, internal and external customer service, and leverage technology.As the CARM, the ability to recruit, hire, coach, develop and retain team members will be critical for success. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance, Stoneway and is located in Kent, WA.PRIMARY DUTIES:Supervise Credit Managers and Accounts Receivable; effectively direct all work performed.Ensure solid credit and AR processes, reducing risk and maximizing working capital.Work across the organization to share and adopt best practices as identified.Ensure company credit and accounts receivable goals and objectives are being met.Provide additional training within the company, including sales team and customers.Oversight of all credit reports and tools throughout the company; including, but not limited to, bond and lien report, invoice status report, and skipped monthly payment report.Manage direct reporting personnel and redefine the team as needed.Outline roles and responsibilities, drive effective and efficient onboarding, and provide coaching and mentoring on an ongoing basis.Periodically evaluate the performance of each employee and offer goals and objectives on an annual basis.QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated understanding of the entire sales process.Ability to be a systemic thinker with an understanding the different parts of a process/organization and how they work together.Demonstrated ability to apply strong process improvement skills.Willingness and ability to perform the work of the team in addition to leading it.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver on expectations.Demonstrated understanding of financial statements.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Communication, or field related to the primary duties of the position.7+ years of experience working in a project management and/or sales capacity.Professional work experience in or understanding of the distribution industry.Working knowledge of or ability to learn Eclipse software.Family Owned.
