Contract Sprinkler Project Manager Spokane Valley, WA The Project Manager is responsible for managing fire sprinkler installation projects in commercial, educational, residential and industrial facilities, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions. The PM oversees and communicates project progression from inception to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation. Develops a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets. Conducts weekly Work in Progress (Minutes) meetings. Understands and follows all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications. Ensures AHJ requirements and office procedures are followed. Convey a sense of professionalism, fairness, and concern for customers, labor and management. Coordinates change orders and drives toward overall margin improvement on every job. Essential Functions: Ability to read and understand fire protection and system drawings Perform onsite survey and design coordination Establish and maintain communication with customers and other contractors pertaining to work schedules, progress reports, change orders, etc. Work closely with sales and design staff on project specifications, staff needs and change orders. Manages project purchase orders, change orders, weekly Minutes meetings, and monthly Cost-to-Complete meeting. Leadership skills, including ability to communicate, address personnel issues and make fair decisions related to project demands, customer service and employee assignments Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized matter and maintain thorough record keeping skills Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service Manage multiple projects and make recommendations in response to changing conditions to meet contract schedules Manages project budgets; identify budget changes throughout the life of the project. Submits change orders, makes WIP adjustments, and reviews billing timely to ensure the projects financial health. Familiar with Microsoft Office, Procore and other project management software. 5 year previous trade experience preferred. Cosco Fire Protection, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
