Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team and assist journeyman-level erectors in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings. This role involves working on commercial job sites as a steel erector sub, with additional responsibilities in siding and finish work. Key Responsibilities
Assist journeyman-level erectors in constructing pre-engineered metal buildings.
Perform steel erection tasks on commercial job sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Participate in siding installation and finish work as required, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship.
Effectively use hand tools and power tools to perform various construction tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure the construction and erection process is carried out correctly.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in construction, framing, and carpentry.
Experience with welding and steel erection, particularly in commercial settings.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Experience in fabrication and working with metal materials.
Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial construction, particularly with steel structures.
Familiarity with safety protocols and construction site practices.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
