Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team and assist journeyman-level erectors in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings. This role involves working on commercial job sites as a steel erector sub, with additional responsibilities in siding and finish work. Key Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman-level erectors in constructing pre-engineered metal buildings.

• Perform steel erection tasks on commercial job sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

• Participate in siding installation and finish work as required, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship.

• Effectively use hand tools and power tools to perform various construction tasks.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure the construction and erection process is carried out correctly.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in construction, framing, and carpentry.

• Experience with welding and steel erection, particularly in commercial settings.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.

• Experience in fabrication and working with metal materials.

• Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial construction, particularly with steel structures.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and construction site practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
