Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for survey, creative solutions, innovation, and can provide success in collaborative effort to serve as a Complete Streets Survey Transportation Engineer 2 in Spokane, WA. This position contributes to the delivery of Eastern Region projects by performing transportation engineering work ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built in compliance with standard specifications and contract plans. This is accomplished by preparing plans, specifications, estimates, reports, and other documents that will be used to improve the safety, quality, and capacity of the State's Transportation System. This position will independently apply standard engineering procedures and techniques to accomplish a wide variety of work in the office and/or field. A successful candidate may also have the opportunity to lead and train technical support staff and entry-level engineers in survey. This position is critical in fostering a respectful, and healthy work environment with focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
