Parametrix Civil Engineer/Geologist in Spokane, Washington

CIVIL ENGINEER / GEOLOGIST Parametrix is seeking a Civil Engineer In Training or a Geologist in Training. We are seeking candidates interested in a hybrid work environment in or near the cities of Spokane, WA or Coeur d'Alene or Boise, ID. There are also opportunities to report to offices located in Puyallup, Bremerton, Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR. Who you are: Experienced: Civil or Environmental Engineer, or Geologist in Training (EIT or GIT) with demonstrated interest or experience in salmon recovery projects, fish passage, stream restoration, fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, stormwater modeling, fieldwork and construction observation are desired. AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred), MicroStation In-Roads, and ESRI experience is a plus. You will have opportunities to work across teams, gaining experience in surface water, land development, roadway design, transportation planning, trails and non-motorized transportation planning, environmental permitting, plans/specifications/estimates (PS&E), and construction oversight. Passionate: You will be supporting and delivering tasks on complex projects including concepts, designs, drawings, specifications, reports, running models, and preparing analyses and recommendations. Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, standout colleague, and not afraid to ask questions and try new things. Driven to support and serve clients. We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work collaboratively with clients, agency staff, and co-workers, interested in coordinated design work with other fields.
