We\'re currently looking for a Class A CDL Driver for the Spokane, WA area. This position is responsible for transporting product (doors & windows) to customer locations. This position is also required to load and unload product into the trailer and at customer locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with general public, understand highway traffic signs/signals, respond to inquiries and to make entries on reports/records per DOT Reg 391.11 Complete all assigned delivery routes. Driver will deliver to local construction jobsites and is responsible for manually offloading product. MUST be able to regularly maneuver/lift and carry 50 - 100 pounds with or without assistance Address customer questions, issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashion. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times in both actions and personal appearance Adhere to Cascade policies and procedures Complete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legibly Maintain driver logs and inspections Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized condition Uphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulations. Load and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloading PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Lifting will occur on a frequent to constant basis throughout the shift. Applicants must be able to pass a post-offer lifting test and physical to show they are safety able to perform the job. Qualifications Valid CDL A driver\'s license with a clean driving record Must be DOT compliant 2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable) Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc. Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phone. Ability to communicate well both verbally and written. Must be able to work independently. Ability to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environment.
