Robert Half Company is actively seeking a deadline-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for local clients ongoing needs in the area. As the Bookkeeper, you will supervise the month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. As well, the Bookkeeper will stay on top of a general ledger reconciliation, perform data entry, light journal entries, cash applications, and full cycle A/P coding. Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Conduct and manage the general ledger

• Examine payments received and record deposits

• Settle accounts by reconciling entries

• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  Requirements

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

• Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Account reconciliation experience

• Practical knowledge of ADP Online

• General familiarity with general ledger

• Quality experience with Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Bookkeeping Functions

• Proven knowledge of month end closings

• Well-founded grasp of Month-end Close Activities

• Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel

• Prior experience working with accounting software
