Skils'kin is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager for our Custodial Civil Services operations. We are looking for a person in the local area who has strong leadership and organizational skills. Operations currently include Customs and Border Protection compound in north Spokane, Spokane International Airport Tower, Felts Field Airport Tower, Border Protection Hanger, and NIOSH / CDC in the Spokane Washington area. In the role as a working Assistant Manager, you will learn directly from management all of the facilities requirements and government contracts specifications, our proven processes and procedures, and coaching techniques. You will work closely with management for day to day operational needs. You will ensure continuous improvement of performance standards and learn to conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets contract standards while providing feedback to team members to improve performance. The Management team works closely together to schedule and coordinate all work and to build strong professionally friendly customer relationships.  Other administrative tasks include maintaining adequate supply needs, payroll management, trainings, attention to safety, and quality. 

Shift coverage and oversight is necessary seven days per week and varies. Operations for current facilities are conducted primarily Monday through Friday days and early evenings.  Some weekend oversight and shift coverage will also be necessary. Work schedules that allow for two concurrent days off will be provided.

 

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience and confidence in professional cleaning industry work or similar commercial operation.

Awareness and experience in operational risk management areas.
