Spherion Staffing & Recruiting Assembly Worker in Spokane, Washington
Job Purpose
Spherion has an immediate opening for assemblers. Follow work instructions to complete basic, routine assemblies and test operations. Starting wage for position is \$17.50 per per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate hand tools to assemble product • Record accurate production and traceability information as required • Complete equipment set-up/changeover configurations • Complete cycle counts (as required) • Follow work procedures/operating instructions • Participate in cross-training of processes as assigned • Inspect your work and inspect work of others to ensure the reduction of defects and enhanced product quality • No supervisory responsibilities • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications • Ability to read, write, and understand English • Ability to do basic math
Desired Qualifications • Ability to use measurement tools
General Job Requirements
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
