Join a well-established construction company in search of a dedicated AR/Billing Specialist to support their financial operations. This contract-to-hire position focuses on project billing, invoicing, and recording payments, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing organization while building on your accounting expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts receivable (A/R) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle construction project billing, including analyzing job costs and generating client invoices.

• Record and apply incoming payments while reconciling discrepancies as needed.

• Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure proper follow-up on outstanding balances.

• Collaborate with internal departments to gather project-related data for accurate invoicing.

• Support the month-end close process by preparing reconciliations and reports.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in accounts receivable is required; construction industry experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with project billing workflows or job costing is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency with accounting software and intermediate Excel skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and organized approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and client interactions.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
