Description Vitalant is hiring immediately for a Appointment Scheduelr at our fixed site donor center. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will have the opportunity to be the front-line hero to patients by scheduling present and past donors to make their next vital contribution to the community. You will also be responsible for achieving goals for recruiting current, lapsed, and potential donors, and scheduling them to donate at a fixed site location, including recruiting donors for special needs requests, such as HLA matched platelets. We're looking for someone who can:

  • Enhance the donor experience by providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist on specialized calling projects, including special reds, matched platelet requests, plasma, first time platelet donors, conversion and reminder calling.
  • Use (awe) mazing multi-tasking skills while supporting numerous blood centers within Vitalant using innovative messaging to recruit, schedule appointments, and sustain platelet donors though advanced eligibility and donor center/product knowledge.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the fixed site recruitment team, exhibiting a positive presence while cultivating a culture that encourages mentorship, teamwork, leadership, and innovation.
  • Participates as requested in onboarding of new hires and refresher training of current staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months customer service and/or outreach environment experience
  • 2 years customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
