GLP Attorneys Administrative Assistant in Spokane, Washington

GLP Attorneys, P.S., Inc., an established and respected plaintiff's personal injury law firm, seeks an Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Eastern Washington team. Upon successful completion of onboarding and training, this position may be considered for a hybrid schedule. The physical office is located in Spokane.

In this position, you will:

  • Offer comprehensive administrative and operational support to Eastern Washington legal team(s), including tasks such as setting up new client files, scanning and closing files, communicating with clients and colleagues, handling client correspondence, managing client account balances, and performing administrative functions like copying, scanning, and faxing various communications.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed.
  • Interact with clients and colleagues, providing assistance and information as required.
  • Provide general administrative support to attorney(s) and colleagues, assisting with various tasks to help support the smooth operation of the office.
  • Manage teams incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes. Draft and edit documents, letters, and reports.

  • Assist in managing attorney(s) calendars and handling phone calls and emails.

Qualified candidates should have experience including:

Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating effective communication with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, coupled with a positive "can-do" attitude.

Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, reflecting a strong collaborative work ethic.

Understanding of the confidential nature of the work, with the ability to maintain professionalism consistently.

Proficiency in proofreading legal documents.

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

Basic knowledge of office equipment.

Familiarity with clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing.
